《大象席地而坐》長映7周　金馬史上最賣中國片
去年的金馬獎最佳劇片得主是已故中國青年導演胡波的遺作《大象席地而坐》，它同時獲得最佳劇情長片及改編劇本獎，雖因片長長達3小時54分，但意外地在台灣上映期長達7周，從1月11日上映至今，累積680萬元台幣，成為史上最賣座的「純中國產」金馬最佳影片，也是上映最久的。該片表定到明天就要下檔，是否還能延長，就看影迷熱度。

因該片獲得金馬獎最佳劇情片，依規定可以不用抽籤直接上映，片商以 4萬美金（約124萬元台幣）台幣取得版權，原本以為超長的片長會導致票房影響，但因導演自殺又得獎的故事傳奇，令人更好奇電影內容，於是一上映變持續至今，比以往的中國得獎作品都還要久。片商沒有賠錢反而小賺。明天只剩台北長春國賓的一場，是否還會加場，是否加場，就看市場反應。
